Incidence Response Plan

An Incident Response Plan (IRP) is a documented, step-by-step set of instructions designed to help an organization detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity incidents. Its primary goal is to minimize damage, reduce recovery costs, and protect an organization's reputation.
While an IRP focuses on active threats like data breaches or ransomware, it is often used alongside a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP), which focuses on restoring infrastructure after a catastrophic event.
